Regardless of business size, businesses with an annual turnover of AED 375,000 are required to VAT Register. Turnover includes the next 30 days. However, businesses may voluntarily VAT Register if annual turnover exceeds AED 187,500.

VAT Registration Requirements
- Documents of authorized signatory, eg: passport, emirates ID, visa
- Trade License
- Certificate of Incorporation of the company
- Certificate of Articles of Association of the company
- Certificate of Power of Attorney (if applicable)
- Turnover for the last 12 months in AED
- Description of business activities
- Supporting documents of sale for the last 12-month
- Expected turnover in the next 30 days
- Bank account details
- Supporting documents for customs registration in the Emirates (if applicable)
- Estimated export value from each GCC countries for 12 months
- Estimated import value from each GCC countries for 12 months
